Derry City's challenge for league honours faltered again as they were held to a goal-less draw by Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds.
Kevin McHugh went close for City in the first half with a clever chip and recent signing from Linfield, Thomas Stewart, had a shot well saved.
The result leaves Stephen Kenny's men six points behind leaders Bohemians.
St Pat's are in second place, two points behind the Bohs, with Cork sitting in third position.
Derry's next league match is at home to Bray Wanderers on 11 July.
