Former Dungannon Swifts midfielder Ryan McCluskey wants to make his Irish League comeback in August after taking a break to focus on Gaelic football.

McCluskey, who has helped Fermanagh get to the Ulster GAA final for the first time in 26 years, has had a transfer request agreed by Dungannon.

"I am looking forward to getting back to the Irish League game. I have missed it," said McCluskey.

"I did not say I was giving up the game but that I was taking a break."

McCluskey will first of all try to help Fermanagh to a first-ever Ulster GAA crown when they face favourites Armagh in the final on 20 July.

Meanwhile, Dungannon have also made midfielder Mark McConkey available to other clubs.
