Ryan McCluskey has been named in the Fermanagh squad for this year's Allianz National Football League. McCluskey quit the Fermanagh squad during last year's NFL because of Irish League soccer commitments but he played in this year's McKenna Cup. However, new manager Malachy O'Rourke has been unable to convince Stephen Maguire to return to the squad. Shane McCabe, who plays for Irish League club Glentoran, Jonathan McGurn and Colm Bradley are all absentees. Ciaran O'Reilly is also not named in the squad while Barry Owens is unavailable following his recent heart surgery. Other players to drop out of last year's squad include English-based Niall Tinney, Brian Og Maguire, Shane O'Brien and Paul McCusker. Stephen Maguire stepped away from the intercounty scene two years ago because of work commitment and there will now be doubts as to whether he will wear the Fermanagh senior jersey again.
Newcomers to the panel include the Keenan brothers Niall and Matthew, goalkeeper Fergal Murphy, Barry Mulrone, Niall Leonard, Paddy Mohan, Paul Ward and Pat Cadden.
The Erne County will be in action in Division 3 in this year's league.
