Limavady moved off the bottom of the Carnegie Premier League table by coming from behind to beat Ballymena 3-1.

Gavin Melaugh gave the visitors a 21st minute lead when he nipped in ahead of the defence to score with a fine shot from Kevin Kelbie's left-wing cross.

Gareth Tommins levelled with a well struck first-time shot on 40 minutes.

Brian McClean's crisply struck low drive from 25 yards on 68 minutes made it 2-1 and Tommins added the third with a glancing header after 84 minutes.

After the Sky Blues' opener, teenager Tommins equalised after Gary Crossan's deflected shot fell to him.

Ryan McIlmoyle laid the ball back for McClean's strike and Curran then provided the cross from the right for Tommins to head into the top corner.

Just before Limavady's third, Ballymena striker Michael Ward had a shot cleared off the line by David King.
