Larne secured a vital win at Inver Park which eases their relegation worries in the Carnegie Premier League. Bertie Fulton put Larne ahead on 13 minutes with a close-range finish after United keeper Paul Murphy spilled a Ross Black shot.
Kevin Kelbie equalised in the 59th minute when he curled a shot past Alex Spackman from Stephen Lowry's cross.
But Larne were back in front six minutes later with Paul Hamilton firing into the top corner from 18 yards.
