Larne boosting their prospects of avoiding the drop as they hammered fellow-struggles Armagh City in Saturday's Carnegie League clash. Ross Black headed Larne ahead on 14 minutes and his brother Aaron Black doubled the lead five minutes later. Conor Forker's 25th-minute goal reduced the lead but Aaron Black restored the two-goal lead before half-time. Mark Miskimmin and Bertie Fulton goals increased the lead and Austin McCann's late goal was little solace for Armagh. Larne moved out of the bottom two after Saturday's win. They are now on 19 points, two ahead of bottom-placed Limavady and one clear of Institute. Armagh are also in the relegation mix as they are only a point ahead of Larne.
