 Allan Smart scored nine goals for Portadown this season |
Portadown have released Scottish striker Allan Smart on a free transfer. The forward has not featured in recent games for the Shamrock Park club after injuring himself in a freak accident at his home.
Smart scored nine goals for the Ports this season including the dramatic late winner against Glentoran at the Oval on the 30 December 2006.
Portadown could only manage a distant fourth in this year's Carnegie League and the club failed to win a trophy.
