Wesley Boyle celebrates his opening goal |
A dramatic goal by Sean ward in added time earned Glentoran a replay against Portadown in the JJB Sports Irish Cup. Wesley Boyle latched onto a long ball to beat Elliott Morris with a neat finish to make it 1-0 on 32 minutes.
Kevin Pressman saved brilliantly from Chris Morgan before Marc McCann rifled the ball past Morris after 52 and Allan Smart hit the woodwork soon after.
Michael Halliday scored with a flick header on 80 and Ward drilled the equaliser past Pressman late on.
Glentoran boss Paul Millar made five changes from the side which lost to Donegal Celtic last week while Michael Collins was left on the Portadown bench after submitting a transfer request.
The Glens failed to clear their lines for Boyle's opener and after McCann made it 2-0, Gary Hamilton shot wide.
Halliday came on as a substitute to pull one back and then Peter Kennedy foiled Hamilton with a last-ditch tackle before Ward's late strike.
