Derry have signed former Shelbourne defender Dave Rogers

The Liverpool-born Rogers has signed a two-year deal at the Brandywell and Fenlon is happy with his new acquisition.

"He has played at a high standard in Holland and Scotland and a real quality player," said Fenlon.

"The good thing is that Dave can play anywhere across the back four."

Fenlon also said that Rogers would be good for team morale.
