Larne are now a point adrift at the bottom of the Carnegie Premier League after this New Year's Day defeat to in-form Coleraine at Inver Park. Colm Kearney rolled a shot past the Coleraine early in the game while Larne keeper Chris Keenan saved from Bertie Fulton's overhead kick. Darren Boyce scored the only goal on 33 minutes with a good finish from Stephen Carson's cut-back. Keenan kept out a Noel Anderson shot in a poor second half.
