Damien Whitehead continued his prolific goalscoring form to net a 74th minute winner for the resurgent Bannsiders. Davy O'Hare saved from Mark McAllister and Rodney McAree before Noel Anderson headed in from a Tommy McCallion cross to break the deadlock on 35 minutes.
David Scullion twice went close and Rory Hamill also had a chance to equalise as Swifts dominated the play.
Everaldo scored with a diving header from McAree's corner on 48 but Whitehead's strike sealed the points.
Whitehead pounced after Swifts goalkeeper Dwayne Nelson dropped Stephen Beatty's corner.
