Two Shea Campbell goals helped Armagh City beat Glenavon in Saturday's Carnegie Premier League derby.

Gerard McMahon put Glenavon ahead from a fifth-minute penalty after Chris Walker had blatantly handled.

However, Campbell levelled from the spot three minutes later after he had been brought down by Gavin McDonald.

Campbell's free-kick put Armagh ahead but Nathan McConnell levelled a minute after the break. Conor Forker's 49th-minute goal ensured Armagh's win.

Forker beat the offside trap before delivering a precise finish for the winner.

After the two early penalties, Glenavon had the better of the action during the remainder of the first half.

Dave Malone went close for the home side while McDonald also was just wide with an effort from 35 yards.

However, against the run of play Armagh took the lead in the 41st minute thanks to Campbell's curling free-kick.

McConnell levelled for Glenavon a minute after the break but Armagh were ahead again within three minutes when Forker hit the target.

Ross Black had a Glenavon effort blocked while McConnell headed a McMahon cross over the bar.
