Portadown kept up their recent run of good form with this win over derby rivals Glenavon at Shamrock Park. Henry McStay scored on five minutes with a close range header from an inswinging corner by Peter Kennedy.
Gary McCutcheon was denied early on but turned and shot home from eight yards after Kennedy's free-kick was not cleared by the visitors on 28 minutes.
