New signing Karl Bermingham marked his Newry City debut by putting them into the lead against Coleraine. The 21-year-old striker, formerly with Manchester City, netted a great strike to put Roy Coyle's men into the lead on 73 minutes.
But the lead lasted just six minutes as Damien Whitehead headed Coleraine level from an Eddie McCallion cross.
It was enough to keep Coleraine in fifth place in the Premier League while Newry still seek their first home win.
