A hat-trick from Vincent Sweeney saw Limavady win this north-west derby. Damien Whitehead latched onto a Tommy McCallion ball and swept the ball home past Michael Doherty from 12 yards on 23 minutes to give Coleraine the lead.
Stephen Lowry equalised with a low left foot shot from Sweeney's flick on after 38 and Sweeney made it 2-1 by steering a shot past Lawrence McCormack on 44.
Sweeney made it 3-1 with a thunderbolt into the top corner on 52, Darren Boyce netted on 63 and Sweeney added another.
Stephen Parkhouse flicked the ball on for Sweeney's second goal on 52 while Boyce found the net after Stuart Clanachan's throw-in was chested down by Patton.
John Neill committed the offence which allowed Sweeney to score from the penalty spot on 89.
