 Gary Hamilton keeps on scoring for Glentoran |
Gary Hamilton grabbed a hat-trick as Glentoran went five points clear at the top of the table. Hamilton sidefooted in his first on 35 minutes after Willo McDonagh hoisted the ball into the area and scored his second 12 minutes into the second half.
Sean Ward squared the ball for Hamilton to tap in for his hat-trick on 61 and Colin Nixon shot home a first time effort into the corner after 76.
Chris O'Hare of Larne was sent-off on 85 minutes.
Glens striker Hamilton has now scored 12 goals this season.
Early in the game Liam Mullen forced a great save from Elliott Morris and Pedro Delgado was wide with another good scoring chance.
For Glentoran, Michael Halliday flashed a header over the bar and missed another scoring opportunity while Chris Keenan saved from Kyle Neill.
