Ronnie McFall's side lost against the Crues for the second time in a week | Crusaders' promising CIS Cup form continued on the opening day of the Carnegie Premier League when they defeated Portadown at Shamrock Park. The Ports dominated the first half and they should have had more to show at the break than Richard Clarke's fine 20th minute goal. Colin Beggs levelled for the Crues two minutes after the break in their first decent effort of the match. Ciaran Gargan hit the visitors' winner in the second minute of injury time.
