 Paddy Kelly's side took their first league win |
Donegal Celtic won their first match in the premier flight of the Irish League. Stephen Lowry's goalbound shot was deflected narrowly wide while at the other end Gavin Melaugh's right foot shot on 35 minutes met a similar fate.
Paul McVeigh broke the deadlock with a glancing header from a Gerard McCabe cross on 67 and Melaugh headed in after good work by McVeigh after 72 minutes.
Paul McLaughlin pulled one back for Limavady in added time but Paddy Kelly's side secured the points.
