Donegal Celtic's struggles in their first season of senior football continued when they were thumped by Glentoran in Saturday's CIS Cup tie. Michael Halliday headed the Glens ahead on 11 minutes and Alex Spackman's mistake then saw Colin Nixon's long-range effort crossing the line. The impressive Gary Hamilton's header then made it 3-0 before the break. Sean Ward and Hamilton added further Glens goal although they had Mark Glendinning stretchered off late on.
