Glenavon manager Colin Malone has completed the signing of World Cup defender Atiba Charles. The 28-year-old was in the Trinidad and Tobago squad in Germany earlier this summer, although he did not make an appearance for the Caribbean side.
Charles plans to use Glenavon as a stepping stone to a possible move to the Premiership in England.
Delays with paperwork could prevent Charles from making his debut in Friday night's CIS Cup game against Linfield.

The Glenavon skipper played alongside Charles in central defence for Caribbean club Western Connection last year.
Black has kept in touch with his team-mate and persuaded him that an impressive spell with Glenavon could lead to a transfer to the English top-flight.
