 Striker Gary McCutcheon scored twice for Portadown |
Portadown came from behind against Ballymena to secure their first win of the 2006-07 CIS Insurance Cup. The Ports trailed at half-time as United scored on 42 minutes through Kevin Kelbie's back-post finish after a run and cross from Mark Picking.
Portadown equalised on 60 minutes through an Alan Smart penalty after Gary McCutcheon had been tripped.
McCutcheon edged the Ports ahead on 69 minutes and then sealed the win with a diving head from Marc McCann's cross.
