Goalkeeper Alan Mannus adds to the full-time staff at Windsor |
Linfield goalkeeper Alan Mannus has become the fourth player at the club to turn professional. The Carryduff-based stopper, who played a key role in Linfield's clean sweep last season, has signed a three-year deal with the Blues.
Mannus joins NI striker Peter Thompson and midfielders Paul McAreavey and Michael Gault on the full-time staff.
Linfield manager David Jeffrey hopes to further increase the number of professionals at Windsor Park.
"The club and I share the same vision. I would like to have between six and eight full-time players in the next three years," said the Blues boss.
"The more full-time players we have the better it will be for the club."
