 Michael Gault joins the full-time ranks |
Midfielders Michael Gault and Paul McAreavey have joined Peter Thompson in the full-time ranks at Linfield. Both have agreed three-year contracts with the Irish League champions.
Stephen Douglas, Pat McShane, William Murphy and Aidan O'Kane have all agreed one-year deals with Jamie Mulgrew and Jim Ervin signing two-year contracts.
Mark Picking, David Larmour, Avun Jephcott, Ciaran Gargin and Paul Hamilton have all been released by the Windsor Park outfit.
"We have worked it out that I can continue my studies," said 23-year-old Gault who is doing sports science at Jordanstown.
"It should improve me as a player. It did not do Peter Thompson any harm."
Linfield completed a clean sweep of the four domestic trophies in 2005-06, winning the Nationwide Irish Cup, CIS Insurance Cup and County Antrim Shield as well as the league title.
