Donegal Celtic have signed former Aston Villa and Glentoran midfielder Gavin Melaugh on a two-year deal. The 25-year-old was a target for a number of clubs but has opted to continue his career with the Carnegie Premier League newcomers.
The ambitious west Belfast outfit are also poised to bring former Millwall defender Mark Hicks to Suffolk Road.
DC have signed former Coleraine striker Sean Armstrong and Larne keeper Alex Spackman is set to join the club.

Melaugh joined Glentoran in 2003 and was released by the east Belfast club in May after his contract expired.
The former Northern Ireland U21 international spent four years in England with Aston Villa and Rochdale.
