Donegal Celtic will be able to play at their west Belfast home next season after the IFA revised its criteria for entry into the Premier Division. The newly promoted club feared it would be forced to find a temporary home as the Celtic Park venue did not meet existing ground criteria.
But only minor adjustments will be required after the IFA accepted recommendations for change.
Celtic will have to install up to 300 seats and two operating turnstiles.
The size of the match officials' dressing room will also have to be increased.
The news is a major boost for the club, although "high risk" home fixtures could raise health and safety issues and difficulties for police.
Celtic secured promotion by beating Institute in the end-of-season play-off 3-1 on aggregate.
