Tommy McCallion is ready to leave Drumahoe |
Institute manager Liam Beckett has reluctantly agreed to allow midfielder Tommy McCallion to leave the club. The availability of the former Coleraine and Glentoran player will alert a number of Premier League clubs.
Meanwhile former Lisburn Distillery striker Sean Armstrong has agreed to join Premier newcomers Donegal Celtic.
Manager Paddy Kelly is also believed to be keen to add Larne goalkeeper Alex Spackman to his squad for the club's first tilt at senior football.
The West Belfast outfit defeated Institute in a promotion-relegation play-off earlier this month.
Armstrong said that he was "excited" to join the new Carnegie Premier League outfit.
"For a while I didn't think the club was going to win promotion and it's amazing now to think that next season we will be playing against the top teams," said Armstrong, who started his career with Donegal Celtic.
"The club is close to my heart and I am determined to score the goals that will help us stay in the top division. Our main aim is to survive.
"We feel that the future will bring success but the immediate future is about holding on to what we have and learning from the big clubs."
Celtic parted with over 1,000 to secure the striker, a nephew of Northern Ireland legend Gerry Armstrong.
Lisburn Distillery wanted to recoup some of the player's signing-on fee before releasing him a year into his two-year contract.
