Double delight for manager Millar
Paul Millar
Paul Millar took over as Glentoran manager in February
Glentoran boss Paul Millar has claimed the Harp NI Football Writers' Manager of the Month award for April.

It makes it a double for Millar, who succeeded Roy Coyle in the Oval hotseat in February, after he picked up the honour for the first time in March.

The Glens dropped just two points in five league games in April and reached Saturday's Irish Cup decider against Linfield after beating Larne 2-0.

"There is a great buzz about the place with the final coming up," said Millar.

The Oval outfit started the month in impressive fashion with the semi-final success over Larne at Windsor Park.

The four Carnegie Premier League victories came against Loughgall, Portadown, Ballymena United and Dungannon Swifts.

There was also a scoreless draw with champions Linfield as Millar's men secured a second place finish.
