Glentoran warmed up for the Irish Cup final against Linfield with a deserved two-goal success against Dungannon. Gary Browne gave Paul Millar's side the lead on 10 minutes and then set up Chris Morgan to fire past Wells for his 17th goal of the season.
Jody Tolan made it 3-0 with a penalty on 78 minutes after keeper David Wells had brought down Ryan Berry.
David Sculion scored for Dungannon in stoppage-time with a glancing header from Rodney McAree's cross.
But it was Glentoran who finished the season on a high, stretching their unbeaten run in the league to 11.
