Ards striker Jason Hill is set to return to former club Glentoran. The marksman was previously on the books at the Oval but was released by former Glens boss Roy Coyle before the start of last season.
New manager Paul Millar is also believed to be pursuing Lisburn Distillery defender Gareth McKeown and Cliftonville midfielder Conor Downey.
The former Newry chief will be keen to strengthen his squad to mount a serious challenge for honours next season.
