Darren Kelly and John Convery clear from Distillery's Darren Armour |
Two late goals gave the Whites a surprise Carnegie Premier League win over Portadown at Shamrock Park. Former Derry City full-back Darren Kelly put the Ports ahead on 26 minutes with a close-range header from a Marc McCann cross.
Kelly hit the crossbar with another header after 74 minutes.
Gareth McKeown's superb 35-yard strike made it 1-1 on 83 minutes and Conor Hagan won it five minutes later with a penalty after a foul on Francis Murphy.
Hagan came closest for Distillery in the first half when his header was saved by David Miskelly.
Murphy squandered an opening just after a break while Portadown's Henry McStay headed over minutes later.
The defeat leaves the Ports 20 points behind pacesetters Linfield and their lead over third-placed Glentoran has been cut to one point.
The victory takes Paul Kirk's team up two places to 11th.
