Linfield have signed Avun Jephcott from Ards |
High-flying Linfield have strengthened their squad by signing Ards' striker Avun Jephcott and former Glentoran star Timothy McCann. The runaway Carnegie Premier League leaders snapped up Coventry-born Jephcott until the end of this season.
He was a mid-season capture for manager George Neill and scored three goals during his spell at Ards.
McCann, a left-sided midfielder, moves from Sligo on a free transfer and has a contract until the end of next season.
"That's all my business in the transfer window," said Linfield manager David Jeffrey whose side have now opened up a 15-point gap at the top of the Irish League table.
"There will be nobody else coming in or nobody leaving Windsor Park."
