Glenavon were denied their fifth away win of the season as Mark Magennis scored a second-half equaliser for Limavady at the Showgrounds. The Lurgan Blues had taken the lead after six minutes when Neil Gawley's fine through ball set up Aiden McVeigh to fire past keeper Dwayne Nelson.
Marty Verner had a chance to make it two but Nelson pulled off a fine save.
Limavady levelled nine minutes from the end when Magennis beat Andy McDonald with a superb 25-yard free-kick.
United applied late pressure and Graeme Philson went close on two occasion.
Then Gawley almost sneaked a stoppage-time winner for Glenavon who have now won just one from their last six.
