Ballymena scored a goal in either half against Cliftonville to move into the last four of the Crest Co Antrim Shield at the Showgrounds on Tuesday night. Ballymena struck early when Albert Watson rose to knock in a swinging corner from Andrew Rossbottom in the seventh minute. Another Rossbottom set-piece four minutes from the end enabled Gary Haveron to head home the second goal. Cliftonville had their chances but the Sky Blues deserved their victory.
