Gary Browne scored Glentoran's winner away to Newry |
Gavin Melaugh celebrated his 100th appearance for Glentroan by scoring twice as Roy Coyle's side came from behind to beat Newry City. Newry took a surprise lead when a mix-up between Glens defender Colin Nixon and keeper Elliott Morris let Stephen Ferguson in to score.
Glentoran equalised in the 26th minute when Melaugh headed in his first league goal for 11 months.
Glens' Gary Browne scored just before half-time and Melaugh got the third.
Brown's goal came in first-half stoppage-time, the striker pouncing after Chris Morgan's free headrer had been blocked by keeper Robert Robinson.
Melaugh made it 3-1 near the end tucking the ball away after a good build-up down the right.
