Lisburn Distillery cruised into the semi-finals of the CIS Insurance Cup with a thumping 6-0 win over Limavady United who had two men sent-off. Francis Murphy, Damien McLaughlin and Darren Armour had the Whites 3-0 up by the break with Tony Shields of Limavady dismissed for an elbowing offence.
Sub Chris Coffey, Andrew Dickson and an Andy Kilmartin penalty completed the rout for dominant Distillery.
Graeme Philson was red-carded for the hand-ball which led to the penalty.
It was a night when everything went right for Paul Kirk's Distillery, except for Armour's failure to convert a 35th-minute penalty.
Murphy got the first goal on 10 minutes, coming in to meet Andrew Dickson's cross with a right-foot volley.
The penalty was awarded for a foul by Shields on Dickson but keeper Dwayne Nelson dod well to save.
A mintue later came the touchline flare-up which ended with Shields geting a straight red, refereee Frank Hiles signalling that it was for elbowing Conor Hagan.
On 38 minutes McLaughlin latched on to a long ball up the middle and beat the advancing Nelson.
In first-half stoppage-time, Murphy's cross as headed in by Armour for number three.
Coffey's low drive on 52 minutes, Dickson's 10-yard shot five minutes later, plus the Kilmartion spot-kick on 65 wrapped up the convincing victory.
