Marty Quinn's Coleraine side can still make the last eight |
Ciaran Ferry's 83rd minute header earned crisis-club Coleraine a 1-1 draw against north west rivals Institute in Tuesday's CIS Cup tie. Institute's Russell Porter was sent off in the 34th minute when he handled Kyle McVey's goalbound shot but McVey's penalty was saved by Sullivan Jous.
Jous also made third quarter saves to deny Stuart Bratton and Stephen Carson.
Tommy McCallion fired Institute ahead in the 68th minute after a sweeping move before Ferry's late leveller.
Institute move to two points - a point behind Coleraine but both teams remain in contention to join leaders Glentoran in the last eight.
