Striker Shea Campbell has agreed to join Glenavon after his proposed move to Newry City fell through last week. Campbell impressed new Mourneview boss Jimmy Brown when he turned out for the Lurgan Blues in a friendly against Lurgan Celtic on Saturday.
Campbell had failed to agree terms with Newry after leaving Linfield.
Meanwhile Brown is also holding talks with Glentoran pair Tommy McCallion and Kevin Keegan, who have both been given permission to speak to other clubs.
Brown is working within a tight budget and may have to release some of his present squad before making a move for the duo.
