Linfield have released striker Shea Campbell who only joined the Windsor Park set-up last January. Campbell, who was unhappy at his lack of first-team opportunities with the Blues, could be his way to Newry City.
It is the second striker that Linfield have jettisoned after a short spell following the release of Andy Crawford.
The 23-year-old Campbell moved from Ballymena after spending a period on-loan to Armagh City who have since been promoted to the Premier League.
