Shea Campbell (left) does not fit into Roy McCreadie's plans |
Newry City have decided not to go through with the signing of former Ballymena and Linfield striker Shea Campbell. Despite playing in a pre-season friendly with Roy McCreadie's side, Campbell will not be staying at the Marshes.
"We pulled out of reaching terms with Shea Campbell, even though he featured in some matches," said McCreadie.
"He is not what I am looking for at this stage."
McCreadie has instead turned to Coleraine winger Barry Curran who has signed a two-year contract.
"Barry is just out of contract at Coleraine, and I am glad to have him on board," McCreadie told the Belfast News Letter.
