Glentoran 2-0 Institute
Glentoran's Chris Morgan
Chris Morgan gave Glentoran an early lead against Institute
Glentoran stretched their lead at the top of the Irish Premier League to two points with their sixth successive win in the championship.

Early goals from Chris Morgan and Shaun Holmes proved enough as keeper Elliott Morris kept his seventh clean sheet in nine league and cup games.

Morgan headed the opener on six minutes from a fine Kevin Keegan cross.

Then Shaun Holmes scored a superb goal, jinking past a defender before beating keeper Gerard Crossan from 20 yards.

After that second goal on 12 minutes it looked as if the Glens might chalk up a big victory.

But Institute, beaten only once in their previous five, refused to lie down and made Roy Coyle's pacesetters fight for the win.
