Ballymena snap up Jemson
Nigel Jemson in action for Shrewsbury
Nigel Jemson played for Shrewsbury last season

Ballymena United have signed former Nottingham Forest and England under-21 striker Nigel Jemson until the end of this season.

Kenny Shiels' side have had goalscoring problems so far this season and hope Jemson could improve their fortunes.

The 33-year-old was out-of-contract at Shrewsbury where last season he scored the goal which knocked Everton out of the FA Cup.

Jemson has also had spells at Oxford, Grimsby and Rotherham.
