Derry face Bohs test
Kevin Mahon's side will be up against it at Dalymount Park
Kevin Mahon is already missing Liam Coyle and Tommy McCallion

Sean Hargan has been added to the Derry City injury list ahead of Friday's Eircom League game against champion Bohemians at Dalymount Park (1945 BST).

Hargan has a groin strain and could be out for a couple of weeks.

Boss Kevin Mahon has already been robbed of injured Liam Coyle and Tommy McCallion in recent weeks and could have done without this latest blow.

Derry claimed a vital 1-0 win over UCD last Thursday but defeat by Bohs would put the pressure back on Mahon.

His side lost their four opening league games and already appear set for a season battling against relegation.

Eddie McCallion is expected to deputise for Hargan while Paddy McLaughlin or Peter Hutton could be deployed at right back.

Bohemians will be without Paul McNally for Friday's contest.

Meanwhile, the date for Derry's prestige friendly against Barcelona has been confirmed for 14 August - just two days before their opening Uefa Cup game.

Derry had hoped to switch the Barcelona game to 10 August but despite efforts by local MP John Hume, this hasn't proved possible.
