Northern Ireland have agreed to host Serbia in a friendly match at Windsor Park on Saturday, 14 November.

The Irish FA had been in negotiations to travel to play Bulgaria in Sofia on that date but terms were not agreed.

Nigel Worthington's Northern Ireland finished well out of the qualifying reckoning, ending their campaign in fourth place in Group Three.

Northern Ireland were seven points behind group winners Slovakia and five behind Slovenia who made the play-offs.
