Steven Davis is likely to be travelling to Bulgaria

Northern Ireland are likely to face Bulgaria in a friendly international game in Sofia on Saturday 14 November.

Negotiations involving IFA officials and their Bulgarian counterparts are at an advanced stage.

Bulgaria visited Windsor Park for a friendly in February, 2008 and Northern Ireland agreed to reciprocate the fixture at a future date.

Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay were interested in playing in Belfast but the cost is thought to be too high.
