Blackburn Rovers defender Tony Kane has been included in the Northern Ireland U21 squad for the European qualifying game against Israel at Mourneview Park. Kane recently switched allegiance from the Republic of Ireland and was drafted into the senior panel for the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Latvia and Iceland.
The 22-year-old played in two U21 friendlies for the Republic before returning to the country of his birth.
Kane had represented Northern Ireland at U18 and U19 level.
Six Irish Premier League players are included in manager Roy Millar's 20-man squad for the match at Lurgan on Wednesday 17 October.
Kyle McVey, Aaron Callaghan, Jamie Mulgrew, Thomas Stewart, Daryl Fordyce and Andrew Waterworth are all included.
Northern Ireland beat Luxembourg 2-1 away in their last qualifying game in September, after losing 3-0 to Germany.
