Northern Ireland have been drawn to face Germany in the qualifying round of the Uefa 2009 U21 Championships. Roy Millar's side were drawn from Pot D in Group 9 alongside the Germans, Israel, Moldova and Luxembourg.
Northern Ireland's first game will be away to Moldova on Friday 1 June, 2007 followed by a home fixture against Germany on Friday 7 September.
The Republic of Ireland were drawn along with England in Group Three of the ten-group competition.
