Midfielder Scott Brown has warned France not to underestimate Scotland when the sides meet on Saturday. Brown, who could earn his second cap at Hampden, said France had "incredible" players but said Scotland could cause them problems.
"We've had a few really good results in the last few months under Walter so you never really know what can happen," the 21-year-old said.
"You respect everyone you play against, but I'll play my own game."
The Hibs midfielder said Scotland had nothing to fear against the French, adding that the players would not be overawed.
"They have incredible players and got to the World Cup final but we've got players as well and will be going out to do our best," he said.

"We've got guys like Ferguson and he'll just have to play his own game against them, while Vieira will have to play his own game and, if I get on the park, I'll have to play my own game.
"We've got world-class players. (Darren) Fletcher is playing for Manchester United, week-in week-out."
Brown said Hibs manager Tony Mowbray had helped him to control his aggression on the park and channel his energy in the right way.
"I'm now a calm guy. That's thanks to the gaffer - he's helped me play more football," he said.
"Now, rather than running about like a headless chicken as much, he's got me on the ball and I play my game.
"I know I've now got to go out there and play my game. Rather than go and annoy people, I just play football."
