Hythe Town target FA Cup upset against Hereford United
Hythe Town manager Scott Porter says that the Kent League side can cause another upset when they meet Hereford in the first round of the FA Cup.
The Reds, from the ninth tier of English football, booked their tie with the Bulls with Saturday's 2-1 win over Staines in the fourth qualifying round.
Porter told BBC Radio Kent: "They're struggling in their league and we're doing fine in ours.
"They're bottom of League Two so I think we've got a good chance."
Porter added: "It's a good tie. We wanted a big tie, Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton, but we'll take what we've got.
"We can enjoy it a little bit more, earn a few quid out of it, hopefully it'll be televised and we can cause another upset."
The way the lads are playing at the moment I think they can give anybody a strong game on their day
Hythe chairman Paul Markland
Hythe are the lowest ranked side left in the competition and are also the first Kent League team to reach the first round proper since the 1950s.
"We're pleased and we're looking forward to going to Hereford," said striker Brendon Cass.
"It's a good draw. We've got a League club - we couldn't have asked for any more really.
Town chairman Paul Markland added: "They're full-time professionals and we're part-time semi-amateurs, but the way the lads are playing at the moment I think they can give anybody a strong game on their day."
