Oxford City manager Mike Ford says his players must take advantage of a home draw in the final qualifying round of the FA Cup and progress further.

City will host either Bedford or Bury Town at Court Place Farm on 24 October.

"This might the best opportunity of getting to the first round proper for a long time, " Ford told BBC Oxford.

"We've not been there since the 1990s when we played Wycombe, so it has been a long time coming. But it will be a tough game on the day."

He added: "We have to make sure we do the business, like we have done in the previous three rounds, if we are to progress."
