Harrogate to face Eastwood replay

Harrogate Town will replay their FA Cup third qualifying round tie against Eastwood on Tuesday at the CNG Stadium after Saturday's 2-2 draw.

Set-piece goals from Eastwood's Mark Hume and Paul Robinson cancelled out strikes from Darren Dunning and James Dean for Harrogate Town.

"We said at training on Thursday night they'd cause us problems from set pieces," said Town boss Neil Aspin.

"I knew this would be difficult, they have good players and are doing well."

Aspin was annoyed at the lack of marking for Eastwood's second goal, and in particular the first, scored by former Town favourite Mark Hume: "I've seen referees give a free kick, he's climbing all over the back of him (Justin Whittle).

"It's probably inevitable that Hume would score, he's got a great scoring record and that was no surprise to me."

Aspin highlighted the all-round display of striker James Dean.

"I liked the fact that he put himself about, he was a handful for the opposition's defenders."

Aspin declined to say who won the battle of the twin brothers in midfield, Darren or Richard Dunning, although he conceded Richard produced "really good deliveries" which led to the Eastwood goals.

And as for Tuesday's replay he added: "We need to be better in possession, we need to play better, pass it better, and then we'll give ourselves a chance of going through."
